Adult Sunday School Classes
Platte Woods United Methodist Church offers a multitude of Sunday morning learning opportunities for adults. There are classes for adults of all ages, with points of emphasis ranging from traditional Bible study to family-focused classes to a class especially for those who come to church alone on Sunday morning. Classes meet at 9:30 or 11:00 a.m. in various locations throughout the church. See below for a brief description of the various classes offered here. We enjoy looking at faith questions from various viewpoints through our study of the Bible and a variety of Christian literature. Our discussions are open and stimulating. This is an intergenerational class. Everyone is welcome!

We are a lively and welcoming Bible study class, with members of all ages and various backgrounds. We invite anyone who wishes to explore the scriptures to join us. Jump in and ask questions or listen to others discuss and ponder, while enjoying great fellowship.

If you enjoy down-to-earth conversation about how to apply God's Word to your daily life, then this is the class for you. This diverse group of people studies a wide variety of topics -- anything goes! We serve church and community in a variety of special projects. We also enjoy parties and class trips. Newcomers are especially welcome to our growing class.
