Hope Circle of UMW
The local chapter of the United Methodist Women is called Hope Circle and meets twice monthly: once to study mission needs and opportunities, and once for quilting.
Mission Needs and Opportunities Monthly Meetings
Through intentional study and reading, Hope Circle expands their knowledge and compassion for persons in need and especially for women and children facing hardships. Meeting on the third Thursday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in PWUMC room 209.
Hope Circle also makes twin-size quilts for ReStart and Hillcrest Ministries, as well as lap quilts for Children’s Mercy and church members confined to nursing homes or long-term hospital stays. They quilt on the second Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. in room 209.
