Hi everyone! I’m Reyna (they/them), and I am thrilled to serve as the Site Coordinator for Riverside United (RU), Platte Woods Church’s newest faith community. 

My work focuses on supporting our RU launch team, building deep connections with the Riverside community, and ensuring that our space is a welcoming home for all who walk through our doors.

A Heart for Service and Community

My passion has always been service. I work as a Site Coordinator for Riverside United, a role I love because it allows me to directly support our local community and help people find belonging.

While I'm from Nebraska and my partner, Jacee, is from Texas, we’ve proudly made our home together right here in the Kansas City metro.

I believe the church is at its best when we are courageous, curious, and committed to belonging. My personal hope for RU is that we can be a space where everyone feels empowered to be their authentic self, knowing they are fully seen and loved by God and their church family.

Beyond the Site

When I’m not at RU, you can usually find me enjoying my favorite things: all things fall, a good cup of coffee, and making a batch of puppy chow. Our home is kept busy by our three wonderful cats, Cooper, Gatsby, and Onyx, who usually supervise our cozy evenings of board games.
