WORSHIP
PWC offers three unique worship services every week, and we hope you’ll find one that helps you in your journey! Weekend services have the same sermon, but with different supporting elements and music.
In-Person Worship
Sunday 9:30 AM - Modern Contemporary music and a modern feel, held in the Worship Center.
Sunday 11:00 AM - Traditional Traditional music and liturgy, held in the Sanctuary.
Wednesday 1:30 PM - Mid-Week Chapel An intimate service in our Sanctuary with traditional hymns, sharing of joys and concerns and a sermon from one of our pastors.
Online Worship
Worship live with us each Sunday at 9:30 and 11:00 AM. Also, click to watch previous services on demand.

We hope that all people will encounter God through worship at PWC. Students are welcome in all areas of worship and encouraged to join their friends in our student section on the east corner of the worship center and sanctuary balcony.
Worship for All
All people are welcome at PWC. We have set up sensory spaces and wiggle rooms available for worship. We have hearing assistance and ear protection at all services. People of all abilities are invited to participate in worship. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out!

In the sacrament of baptism, we are given new birth through water and the Spirit, incorporated into God’s mighty acts of salvation, and initiated into God’s family at Platte Woods Church.
In the United Methodist Church, Baptism is open to all ages. Start your baptism journey by checking our our baptism page.
Our pastoral team provides teaching to those who are interested in baptism for themselves or their children. You are invited to take this step by providing your information on the Baptism Request Form. You will be contacted by a pastor to continue your path.

Membership is a time when you take a step to make a commitment to Platte Woods Church. Members vow to support the church through prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness. Depending on where you are in your faith journey, you may join through a profession of faith, through restoration, transferring from other denominations or transferring from another United Methodist church.
If you are looking to take a step towards membership, you can go to our Opportunities page and sign up for our membership class, Connect and Commit. We will provide lunch and a time of learning with our pastoral team as you consider what membership looks like at PWC.
