Faith Like A Child: Saying Sorry

Discussion Question: What is the worst corporate or celebrity apology you've heard? What made it so bad? 

Scripture: Mark 1:4-5 

Practice: Say you are sorry or write an apology to someone this week. It can be for something big or small. 

Prayer: Merciful God, we confess that we have sinned against you in thought, word, and deed, by what we have done and what we have left undone. We have not loved You with our whole heart; we have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. We justly deserve Your judgment. For our sake, and the sake of your son, Jesus Christ, have mercy on us. Forgive us, renew us, and lead us, so that we may delight in Your will and walk in Your ways that lead to glory. Amen. (UMC Prayer of Confession)
